Mellady Direct is seeking an individual to work in our warehouse and make deliveries as needed. The ideal candidate for this position would be a hard worker, organized, reliable, honest and not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Make mail pick-up and deliveries to and from clients and the post office, including loading and unloading mail from truck via hand or forklift
- Coordinate shipments with production
- Insure that all mail and paperwork is included in each delivery and document receipts and inventory
- Keep all material for one job together in one area and move to work stations as needed
- Help on machines when required
- Learn how to setup mailing projects via PC Computer system on mechanical equipment
- Perform various other duties and be willing to offer help and assistance in any way possible
Position Requirements:
- Must have a valid California driver’s license with a good driving record and insurance
- Working knowledge of mail processing equipment a plus
- Must be able to fluently speak and read English
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to read fine print for long periods of time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and push and pull heavy objects
- Must be able to work overtime
