Mellady Direct Marketing is looking for a graphic design professional to help create files, make adjustments to client-provided files and proof files for print. Some examples of projects would be to set-up business card artwork, create bleeds on a client-provided postcard artwork, or review booklet artwork to ensure all images are high-resolution. The ideal candidate would have experience with file preparation for printing, meticulous attention to detail and an interest in maximizing efficiency. Training is available for a candidate that knows that basics of design and is willing to learn!
Designer Requirements:
- Design proofs and print-ready graphic files utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
- Utilize pre-designed templates and graphics to create new artwork for clients
- Pre-flight and troubleshoot supplied digital files for fonts, images, color corrections, resolution and printability and convert to PDF print-ready status for both digital and offset printing
- Design graphics for clients for mainly print jobs, occasionally web application
- Work with pre-press regarding set-up issues and provide proofs
- Maintain logs with attention to detail
Position Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be able to read and speak English fluently
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Must show attention to detail
- Must be pleasant to work with
- Experience setting up variable data a plus–training is available
